Held at Paris’ Intercontinental Hotel, Miaou’s SS’24 presentation builds on the anachronistic tension between the space’s classical setting and a hypercontemporary approach to light. Embracing the circular shape of the space, the runway is fitted with motorised lights that move cyclically through the show, creating an impression of perpetual motion. As the rhythm intensifies, an opulent crystal chandelier at the center of the room comes to life, dipping dramatically to the audience’s level. Like a twisted fairytale, the show’s theatrical scenography reflects on the Miaou girl's multifaceted and rebellious nature.
