Imagined by artist Remy Brière, the set design of Courrèges’ SS’24 runway presentation is an entropic stage that takes after the strategies of Land Art, its brittle
form echoing the clashing encounter of Mind and Nature. In this sculptural framework, each passing stride carves its own, accidental imprint on virgin land, fissuring an infinite path forward. From a bright light box that floods the cubic scene, streams of light emerge gradually, delineating the jagged road left behind. Flashes of artificial sunlight close the show, emphasising the cinematic intentions of the collection.
